The Book Club
The California-inspired eatery is the delicious result of a partnership between Twin Cities’ restaurateur Kim Bartmann and Chef/Owner Asher Miller. Bartmann Group’s newest offering brings delicious fare to the Armatage neighborhood of Minneapolis with items such as wood-fire grilled Balinese chicken, green curry mussels, and whole fried brook trout. But don’t worry, we’ve got your burger, fries, and your grilled ribeye, too — not to mention vegetables all year long. With a contemporary vibe and a warm neighborhood feel, Book Club is open for lunch and dinner every day, and brunch on weekends. There’s also a full bar, a commitment to craft cocktails, extensive wine and beer lists, and a special section at the bar reserved for those waiting for their take-out. Check it out — you’re overdue!

Ama Sushi
The Art of Sushi & Handmade Tibetan Momos
Sonam’s skill as a sushi chef runs parallel with top Japanese restaurants in Minnesota and beyond, but his non-traditional approach is what makes Ama stand out. Made with the freshest ingredients, you’ll find creative, unique offerings such as the Lungta Roll, inspired by the colors in Tibetan prayer flags and featuring spicy salmon, tuna, and yellowtail, topped with avocado and tobiko.Apho Eat in & Take Out
Apoy
We are a Filipino restaurant in Minneapolis started by three friends with creative minds. We named it “Apoy.”
Apoy is the word for “fire” in Tagalog, the main dialect of the Philippines. If you are pronouncing “Tagalog” as if it’s a schoolyard game you would play with a piece of lumber, you are saying it wrong.
We are located in South Minneapolis on 43rd and Nicollet, taking over the spot of the once beloved Anodyne Coffee, so we’ve got some big shoes to fill.
We’re currently under construction but plan to be open by the end of July! We will have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a beer and wine bar. We also plan on having occasional live entertainment and communal events. Keep track of us on our news page or like us on Facebook. Hope to see and feed you soon!

Broders Cucina Italiana
Broders’ was inspired by a trip to Bologna, Italy. This first serious trip to Italy complete with cooking classes changed the way we thought about food and the way we cook. We discovered that the roots of Italian cuisine lie in rustic, uncomplicated peasant cooking but that, as with so many things Italian, it is synthesized to the point of pure, heavenly art. Its unparalleled flavor is a result of integrity to fresh, indigenous ingredients through simplicity of preparation.
