About the Speakers:
Kelsey Clair joined Baird in 2020. Kelsey is currently the Tax Strategist for Baird’s Private Wealth Management Group.
Prior to joining Baird in 2020, Kelsey was responsible for providing tax compliance and tax planning services to high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses at Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP.
Kelsey graduated from the University of South Carolina with both bachelor and master degrees in Accountancy with a focus in taxation. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners as well as the Virginia Board of Accountancy.
Arti Batra joined Baird in 2020 as a Senior Estate Planner for Baird’s Private Wealth Management.
Prior to joining Baird, she spent the last decade assisting clients and their families achieve their estate planning goals. Her practice was largely focused on comprehensive estate planning, including tax planning for high net worth individuals, wealth transfer planning, estate and succession planning for business owners and advising clients on asset protection strategies. She has also been a regular seminar presenter on estate planning topics throughout the metropolitan Detroit area.
Her approach has always centered around educating clients. Additionally, she promotes the philosophy that estate planning is best accomplished when a client’s financial advisor and tax professional is involved in the process.
Arti received her J.D. from Wayne State University and graduated from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metro Detroit, the State Bar of Michigan and the Probate and Estate Planning section of the State Bar. She also holds a Series 65 license.
Eric Wikstrom is a Tax Strategist for Baird’s Private Wealth Management Group having joined the firm in 2021.
Prior to joining Baird, Eric operated his own tax planning firm, specializing in alternative retirement plan investments. Throughout his career in tax, investment and corporate finance capacities, Eric helped develop and structure sophisticated financial solutions to meet the unique goals of individuals and institutions.
Eric graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA. He also holds CPA and CFP® designations as well as a Life Insurance and Disability license in the state of Washington.
